“So which one makes it go?”

Starfisher • 18 Oct 2006 @ 17:58 GMT

Picture is of a Cessna Citation Mustang cockpit (on the ground) at this year’s air races. I’m not actually flying it, but I probably could in a pinch.

Stuff I’m flying now has the same sort of glass cockpit idea going on, though.

Is it really like in the movies where you have to pull with all your might when the plane goes in to a dive, or have they invented automatic steering for planes now?

reki • 19 Oct 2006 @ 10:58 GMT

actually i meant to say power steering.

reki • 19 Oct 2006 @ 22:44 GMT

Oh, yeah, most medium (and bigger) planes have boosted controls.

molo • 19 Oct 2006 @ 23:04 GMT

So your to blame for the all the black skin this year!

I didn’t like it at first, but it already grew on me…

Archangel of Death • 20 Oct 2006 @ 10:08 GMT

Just watch out for those snakes, molo.

Tails • 20 Oct 2006 @ 16:50 GMT

I keep at least one spork in my flight bag. I’m set.

molo • 20 Oct 2006 @ 22:22 GMT

Does the radar screen have a Space Invaders easter egg mode?

dreddnott • 21 Oct 2006 @ 02:30 GMT

ps molo means “no brain” in Cantonese.

Mokona • 21 Oct 2006 @ 20:25 GMT

Greetings to our yearbook designer.

Zany Reaper • 21 Oct 2006 @ 21:45 GMT

Haha, thanks, Mok. It means some other things in other languages, too.

molo • 21 Oct 2006 @ 22:22 GMT

Try to not hit anything molo. :p

Starblade • 22 Oct 2006 @ 21:17 GMT

It can also be used to describe a body part in Finnish.

Elukka • 22 Oct 2006 @ 23:19 GMT

There we go, someone finally said it.

Damn Finns, always letting people in on the secret.

molo • 23 Oct 2006 @ 00:59 GMT

To be precise it means “penis” in Finnish.

celtti • 24 Oct 2006 @ 18:17 GMT

Nice name you chose.
I wonder if it means anything else in some language… :p

Elukka • 24 Oct 2006 @ 20:50 GMT

Nice pic. Does that thing come with missiles? If so, head to Canada, because, not only do they allow guns up there, but, much more nefariously, they allow MOOSE! Now THAT is a true threat to world security. We must do something about the moose!

brianrt91v • 26 Oct 2006 @ 17:13 GMT

i’d like to ride in your cock pit

frstkor13 • 7 Dec 2006 @ 16:31 GMT

Trinity • 15 Dec 2006 @ 06:38 GMT

Yeah, yeah.

molo • 9 Jan 2007 @ 05:07 GMT

Why aeronaut.ca? ... as opposed to .us.

Trinity • 19 Mar 2007 @ 04:12 GMT

Probably because it’s already taken by terrible people. Same with .com.

molo • 25 Mar 2007 @ 06:04 GMT

The real question is how did you acquire it, considering CIRA’s Canadian Presence Requirements? CSIS wants to know
