Q: Is there an official website?
A: The official website for Company of Heroes can be found here.
Q: What is the game's setting?
A: Company of Heroes is set during the second World War. Although historically authentic, the game will follow a fictional storyline.
Q: How many factions are playable in Company of Heroes?
A: In the main game there are two factions, Axis and Allies. As of the Expansion Opposing Fronts there are now four factions, British, Americans, Wehrmacht and Panzer Elite.
Q: Is there an IRC channel for Company of Heroes?
A: Yes, #companyofheroes on irc.hwcommunity.com. Internet Explorer and Firefox users with mIRC installed can access this channel directly by clicking on this link.
Q: Are there expansions available? When are they due for release?
A: There is currently one expansion available, Opposing Fronts. Another expansion, Tales of Valor, is due March 2009.

Q: Does CoH have Singleplayer?
A: Yes, CoH has a singleplayer campaign where you get to play Able Company from D-Day on. The Opposing Fronts expansion also features campaigns for the British and the Panzer Elite on the german side.
Q: Does this game support multiplayer?
A: Yes. Company of Heroes supports multiplayer games for two to eight players via LAN or internet on relic's own internet platform, known as Relic Online (RO) and is run by Quazal.
Q: Is there a ranking system?
A: Yes there is. If you play ranked automatch (use the Play! Button in RO) you can advance from PFC to General of the Army on both sides. There are ladders for 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4.
Q: Is arranged team automatch available?
A: Yes! You can invite a friend to participate on prearranged team games on a separate ladder.

- 2.0 Ghz Intel Pentium IV or equivalent or AMD Athlon XP or equivalent
- 512 MB RAM
- 100% DirectX 9.0c compatible 64MB video card with Pixel Shader 1.1 support or equivalent and latest manufacturer drivers
- DirectXÂ® 9.0c compatible 16-bit sound card
- 8x or faster CD-ROM drive or DVD-ROM drive
- Keyboard, Mouse
- 6.5 GB of uncompressed free hard drive space (We recommend having 1 gigabyte of of free space after installation)
- 3.0 Ghz Intel Pentium IV or equivalent
- 1 GB RAM
- 256 MB NVIDIA GeForce 6800 series or better
REQUIRED FOR MULTIPLAYER:
- 1 set of discs per computer
- For 6-8 player multiplayer or skirmish matches, the Recommended System Requirements are strongly suggested
- Internet (TCP/IP) and LAN (TCP/IP) play supported. Internet play requires broadband connection and latest drivers. LAN play requires network interface card and latest drivers.
Q: I have a problem with my game. Can you help me?
A: THQ provides Technical Support for the game. We will however do our best to help you out here. Head over to the Technical Assistance Section of the boards, read the stickies and make a thread with your problem.
Q: Are there patches for the game?
A: Yes. There is an official patch site here where you can also find the international versions of the patches.
Alternatively, if you just go online in your game, the game will automatically update itself to the correct version.
Q: What about Vista and Direct X 10?
CoH supports DX10 since patch 1.7. And it's not just a "Let the game run faster!"-patch, it adds real DX10 content, better lighting for example and new objects in the world. You can put your High End System to good use with this game.
